Ever since the song "Pour Some Sugar on Me" came out in the 80s....instead of "devilish woman can I be your man"...I sang "demolition woman...." until I got corrected about 3 years ago! LOL...I wonder how many people heard me sing it that way!

I had a song stuck in my head earlier, but I couldn't think of the name of it or who it was by, some of the lyrics go something like this, 'there are places I remember, all my life, though some have changed.' That's all I can really remember, but does anyone know what the song is?

It was late in a Lebanese restaurant, in the heat of a Lebanese night,
There was dancing, people were singing, she came in from the garden outside,
And in her eyes I saw the stars,
And I felt something happen in my heart;

Then I knew I was going to meet her in the heat of a Lebanese night,
And the girl inside the woman, who came over to sit by my side,
And when she smiled, the whole world stopped,
It was then I heard the echoes of a child;

And did you go to your bed with a sweet lullaby,
And the sound of the guns in the night,
And did you dance in the fields, did you run for your life,
From the hell that came down from the sky?
On a Lebanese night, on a Lebanese night;

We went down to the edge of the water, by the light of a Lebanese dawn,
And she told me all the stories of her beautiful land in the war,
Her tears fell down, the sun came up,
And I saw again the young girl in her eyes;

And did you go to your bed with a sweet lullaby,
And the sound of the guns in the night,
And did you dance in the fields, did you run for your life,
From the hell that came down from the sky?
On a Lebanese night, on a Lebanese night;

All of my life, all I have known,
only a place where peace cannot go;
All over the world, the gift from before,
nothing is left for the children of war;

And did you go to your bed with a sweet lullaby,
And the sound of the guns in the night,
And did you dance in the fields, did you run for your life,
From the hell that came down from the sky?
On a Lebanese night, on a Lebanese night,
On a Lebanese night, on a Lebanese night,
I will be waiting, in the Lebanon.

I am trying to decide which version to buy, regular or squeaky clean. What words do they block out? I have the lyrics for the regular one, but does anyone have the lyrics for the clean one?? If you do, could you please tell. I am not worried about my mom and I (I listen to God Must Hate Me by Simple Plan & I Write Sins Not Tradgies (I know there are worse, but those are two of my favorites), but I have an 11 year old brother. So any help would be great! Thanks!!!

...you hear a song that is by your favorite artist when you where younger and it's on the oldies station?
Just now I heard the oldies station playing Bruce Springstien and it shocked me that his music is considered oldies, or the sheer fact that it was played on the oldies station. :(

Just been listening to Elton John Greatest Hits 1970-2000 and can't make up my mind wether I prefer his old stuff or new-ish stuff. He is talented and everything he does seems to turn to gold!

What a shame! This guy is/was so talented! Would people still listen to him if he didn't have all that child molestation stuff? I know Thriller was so long ago. But he was truly talented.

I need help finding people to form a band with, preferably girls, but if can't find enough girls, guys are welcome as well. I'm learning the electric guitar, I need a lead guitarist/vocalist, a bass player and a drummer.
