i am bringing it to a guy in a shop, he will proffesionally scallope it, from the 7th fret to the 22nd fret, my new american strat. i am going to get this guy to install my new sperzel locking tuners on it, nad i want to know how else can i sex up my strat? its got hot pickups, big headstock, no load tone knobs, beautiful laquer paint job, maple neck, and thats all i can think of now. some of the inlays on the fingerboard might get scratched off, so i was thinking of customizing my inlays, ( the dots on the 3rd, 5th, 7th fret ect) i want a cool inlay on t he 12th fret. how much would it cost to gold plate hardware? i was thinking of eventually installing a brass nut. cool hu, any ideas, and price? thanks

I have an opportunity to travel to Europe for 6 weeks on a rock concert tour as a writer/videographer. All expenses are paid plus a measely $500 a week pay. If I go, I have to quit my square job and leave my girlfriend who is new to this country (and who cannot drive). One of the bands is famous.
