i would not already buy a customized guitar because I WANT TO CUSTIMIZE IT! and i would not get a trem lock because i might as well get the full burito by getting a floyt rose. that would require removing parts of the wood, ouch! i am already instyalling locking tuner pegs, remember? and thtat one guy, dude, i didnt understand you, you said dont worry about the inlays becaue its getting scalloped, one, evrey inlay might get scratched off, 2, after its scalloped, not only am i goiong to get it polished with laquer, i am going to get custimized inlays, like some pattern or something, but I NEED IDEAS. i am thinking about the brass nut. the tone knobs, by the way, are the grease bucket no load tone knob system, great.

it has 70's strat saddles, ill check those p saddles out, thanks, i have played fenders with pots that change tone, but never heard of an acoustic tone one. i could get the s-1 pickup selector system installed, alowing an amazingly 7 pickup selector option, i would not get a humbucker, for someday i will get a les gold. and like i said, the no load tone knobs will set that bridge pickup straight. thanks everyone

You're going to spend a lot of money customizing this strat. You should have just spent the extra money and buy a strat already customized. It could be cheaper, considering you bought an real American.

how bout some sort of locking trem?

I doubt the inlays are going to get scratched off ... ESPECIALLY if it's getting scalloped...

oh.. i get it... yeah, it's going to lose the inlays when it's being scalloped..

I like the other guy's idea... I have a Carvin strat that I had built custom from the start.. half the price of a fender, and twice the quality..

i ought to assert purchase the guitar you opt for, and then take it to a luthier (guitar builder) and communicate with him about it. Or more effective constructive yet, go before you purchase the guitar and basically ask him. If its only a end you opt for, you may have any overall luthier paint blood on it or regardless of the reality that. the best custom guitars have designs construct into the fretboard and stuff, yet that should be performed in the time of production, and custom guitar layout receives extremely extreme priced extremely quickly. yet having someone refinish your guitar with a blood topic should be sensible. BTW, i imagine your concept of white with blood spatter is fairly sweet. Or like the bridge is bleeding down the front of the guitar, sweet concept guy.

If you're going to go all out with it, you might consider putting piezo saddles in it and an onboard active preamp. You could put a push pull pot in it and switch effortlessly from electric to acoustic tones. Also you might want to put a humbucker at the bridge position with a coil tap so you can get both single coil and humbucker tones...

yeah, but can you play it? you should focus on the sound more than the look.
