definitely.....it widens your creativity and helps you to be versatile....mike shinoda learned the piano (classical) for ten years and look where is he now... pop songs these days are crap...i hope you will come out with something good... good luck!

I think so, because maybe that way you could incorporate something a little different into the music that would make it stand out amongst other pop songs. It's always nice to have a good background and understanding of other genres.

Yes I think it would, Music is a beautiful inspiration and learning some classics would inspire musicians and humanbeings in general... once you get usesd to the classics you will understand and love them I assure you! I am into Rock music and I trully loved the classics when I heard them...
