The songs are "Jessie's Girl" by Rick Springfield, "Vienna" by Billy Joel, and "Love is a Battlefield" by Pat Benatar. Am I the only one?

I love all music but even though some of the new stuff is great, it doesn't seem to last. What are some songs that you love that have lasted, you know, something that people still listen to even though its 10 years old. Or even what is something that is new that you think will make it, something that you think you will still love 10 years from now?

I love love loveeeee Evanescence's beginning to the song "Call Me When You're Sober" but I would rather not have the guitar or drums or synth...I just love the piano part in the beginning.

Anyone know songs like that?

me and my friend r fighting over if it is or not. he says all phychedelic music is upbeat, indie/euro music from the 60's and 70's like todays indie music. i say pink floyd is considered a phsychedelic band cuz it just seems right .. and it was on the site. BUT WHATEVER. is it phychdelic?

It was a show in the late 70's early 80's of 4 or 5 guys that sang doowap and did skits. One named Bauser. He used to look like he a greaser from the 50's era. He was tall and skinny very deep voice. At the end of the show they would sing "Good night sweetheart well its time to go? Hope someone can remember the name of the group or the show.

I am trying to compile a list of hip-hop songs or r&b songs that have beats or melodies sampled from older songs.

If you could tell me as many as you know or provide a link to a list (not wikipedia, I already found that one), that'd be great.

Ok, so I'm an r&b singer trying to go big with a band that does pop, rock, rap, and r&b. I live in Fort Polk, Louisiana, and we are all trying to get in the business together. We got some underground songs that I send to other people and stuff, but right now all I want to know is how can we get discovered? And if I'm the only one getting discovered, is it right to leave the others behind? We have been trying to get big for like 3 years.
