I need specifics. I know it was acoustic but I need to know the brand and other info. ASAP please I need to buy a gift and soon. If you know where to get one I really need to know.

Sometimes a Gibson, sometimes a Martin. Martin has a Johnny Cash Signature model....pretty expensive.

Started with Martin guitars, later switched to Gibson guitars, played Martin most often in his later life.

Throughout his career he used numerous guitars. It's hard to say which one he used. Many guitar companies would make him custom guitars. Sorry I couldn't be of much more help.

he was not a guitar players guitar player, so anything that was strumable was good enough. i think on an old clip he was playing an epiphone arch top.
