Seriously, working at a record store, I have no clue. I do think, on the metal front, that power metal/prog/Dragonforce-type /Blind Guardian will catch on to all the kiddies. Hardcore is going VERY VERY stale, Death and Black metal are still going strong, but mainly the classics like Berzum/Satryicon/etc etc sell.
As for the top 40 stuff. The same ol' same ol' will always capture an audience, no matter what the age. You can put out pop songs left and right and SOMEONE will like them, there will be no new 'next big thing' in pop (at least sound wise..band wise, yes there will be) for years and years to come. Ok, i'm rambling and I'll stop.

can somebody help me in getting this book? i suppose it is out of print but someone might still have it! Even the book 'gaan yogi' by Vasant Potdar is not available. it is a biography of Kumar Gandharva. where would i find these books?

Pete "Mad Daddy" Myers a great , great DJ played this almost nightly. Pete was a big hit in Cleveland, so much so he went to New York City and did his thing. I've been looking and asking for almost 50 years, with no luck. HELP

Not sure why but I LOVE listening to sad songs and watching sad movies, cuz I'm a very happy person but I do.

Songs...I mostly like rock and country music so if you have any suggestions under those types of music I'd love it.

Movies...just about anything works.
