What happened to MTV? Didn't they used to actually play music? Cummon, lets try to get them back to what they orgionally set off to do.

Very true, even though I don't watch MTV much anymore....I'm still familiar with the kinds of shows they have.
Since when did MTV replace music television with reality shows about rich kids and bratty teenagers celebrating birthdays?

It must be because music videos are fading in popularity. They
need to change their business model to stay in business.
I'm just assuming though. I personally have never gotten into
music videos. I would much rather listen to satellite radio
then watch a bunch of fluff visuals to match the lyrics or
meaning of a song.
