I think we all change up favorite songs based on what mood we are in and every one is never in the same mood all the time! I have found myself saying this is my favorite song or rap all time and then later I'm saying that one is. You could never really label one song as your favorite song ever because it really is. I'll give you examples of some of my favorite all time. "Never know what you got til it's gone"-Janet Jackson, "You gotta be"-Des'ree, "It ain't over til it's over"-Lenny Kravitz, "Someday we'll be together"- Diana Ross and the Supremes, "Love is a House"-Force M.D.'s, etc. See I like all these songs a whole lot I can't decide and there's so many I could never listen to all the time any one because I'd get tired of hearing it over and again and then the next one would sound so much better. No one really has a favorite song, just my opinion. Would you guys/gals think?

Why do some people hate music that is supposedly 'emo'?

As far as I know, 'emo' is short for 'emotional'.

What's wrong with listening to music that has lots of emotion in it? Isn't that what we listen to music for.

I'm probobly missing a piece of the puzzle here so can you people clue me in?
