Saw this movie about 20 years ago on channel 4 a fairly grim foreign language drama about a woman who enters the world of prostituition, guided by a friend. Can't remember much else not even which foreign language, it was in a contempary setting.

At the end of the movie, the couple, with their sleeping child in the back of their vehicle, are discussing how they can "move on" following the affair of "Connie"- Diane Ladd's character. She had an affair on her husband, played by Richard Gere. Long story short, he had confronted the person she had the affair with, and murdered him. At the end of the movie, while discussing their future, they are @ a stoplight. As the screen enlarges, they are in front of the Police Station. I had interpreted that he did NOT turn himself in....My Friend thought he DID. What is your interpretation? What is the REAL ending? Do you know the answer? I've watched this several times, and still am uncertain as to the TRUE ending...Thanks in advance for your answers.

i like a wiiide range of movies, i really like movies that are very artful, even if that's not a word. but i like movies where you have to think and take in the concept of it and such. understand? i like Breakfast at Tiffany's, Across the Universe, Zoo (a japanese film), High Tensions (a french film). not in that order, but those are some of my favorite's. judging from the contents and styles of those films, could you suggest any for me to watch? oh, and i like good horror films like the grudge, like psychological horror films too. anything, please?

Everytime i see her hug another woman in movies or tv shows she seems.... very happy after they seperate. and in one shot looked like she had nearly been kissing the other girl

Its about a this married couple (they have a little boy)and the mother in law is very close to her son..and she hires a private detective to follow her daughter in law to see if she is cheating..the daughter in law goes to this mans house and he falls down a flight of stairs and dies.(it was totally an accident) she leaves her scarf behind..the mom in law confronts her..and tells her to leave her son and grandson and she will let it all go...of course the mom is scared and agrees...just leaves her husband and son the mom in law pays to have her fly possibly to another country...every kid the mom sees reminds her of her son...then several years later the son is grown..the mom returns and is brought to court...at first she doesnt know..but her son is her lawyer..and during a court recess ...its gets emotional apparently and he finds out its his mom ...and she dies....after all that..

Why did you not like it?

its a exact replica (except color vs black and white) of the 1933 version.

They even got original props (not sure what scenes) for it.

the only king Kong i didnt like was the Jeff Briges 1976 one where its all about oil.
