Many years ago I watched a film in a similar vein to the dead of night - with a few different supernatural stories. The one I can remember is one where a servant girl who believes she is ugly - is loaned a beautiful mask during a carnival from a spooky man in a mask shop . No suprises to know that the man she has fallen in love with loves her back in the end and when she takes the mask off she is beautiful too! Please help!!

In the movie The Shining with Jack Nicholson and not the tv series, is the chase longer than in the tv edited version? Im asking because from what some people have told me, in the full length movie the chase is pretty long but in the version on tv its actually quite short.

I guess I wasnt specific enough in the first question, so in the Stanley Kubrick film, was the chase longer? Im debating on renting it or not and to me thats sort of what the whole movie should add up to, an intense chase but to me the one on TV just wasnt cutting it.

Alright, so me and a few friends are gonna be heading to Empire Theatres tomorrow to see Saw 4. I don't have a picture ID (Yay me!) and I'm 18. I'm getting my friend to buy me my ticket, just so I won't be asked for ID, even though I'm 18, which really bugs me.

Anyways. I was wondering if they'll ask me for ID at the door, even with a ticket bought from the front desk?

I remember they did for Jackass 2, and I was 17 then. We didn't get in, and that really sucked. Being 18 now, I'm just wondering if there's anything we should do differently and if anyone else has saw this movie and were they ID'd outside the door?

An annoying situation.

I highly suggest both Bill and Ted movies; Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey... because I'm a big Bill and Ted fan!

I love the Bill and Ted movies so much! I practically love reciting every line in the movies, because they're so darn funny!

Plus who else can't love Bill and Ted?
Or even one of the historical figures, like So-crates?! ;)
Or the Grim Reaper and the Station martians! ;)

Anyone who can name a good comedy movie, or movies; and state the reasons why you love those movies gets 10 points!

Good Luck!
:D

Can only be from film, not tv. Not your favorite bad guy, but the one you find the scariest.

For example, my favorite bad guy is Dr. Evil. BUT, the scariest one is probably Bill 'the butcher' Cutting from gangs of new york.

I was wondering, is there any way to get a prop of the gun robert ford used to kill jesse james with. It can be the exact model of gun or just look very similar. Im not looking for the prop used in the movie just to make things clear.
Here is a picture of the gun:

This was on UK tv quite a few years ago. It starred Susan Hampshire. She was on holiday with her husband, walking on the beach. He slips on a rock, hits his head and dies. It is a remote area so he is taken to an outbuilding adjoining their holiday cottage and laid out. Next day he's gone and then turns up in the cottage (looking a bit pale!) She thinks he must have just been knocked out but he is actually dead and gradually deteriorates over the next few days!
Most movies area repeated on TV but I have never seen this one since!!
