Okay, this movie stars Patsy Kensit as a woman from Ohio.. (not convincingly,but.. oh well) who goes to france to become a comedian, and marries so that she can stay... She ends up recording a song with the "husband" called Rumble Doll.. I believe Patsy really sings it.. but I have not been able to find the soundtrack at all.. even trying to buy the movie is difficult.. Anyone know?

Okay, I was thinking about this movie that I saw many years ago, and I want to say it was set in the 20s(not made) but maybe made in the 80s, if not early 90s.It was basically about a young white girl falling in love with an older asian man, and her family was full of money-grubbing dead beats. But in the end, she had to leave on a ship after he got married (arranged marriage) The movie was pretty sexual, if I remember correctly, but definately a love story. Thanks!

I went to go see it and even though I think Michael Moore may have glossed over a few things, took some liberties, etc. the overwhelming message is that the US health system is insane! How can it be that the US is the only western indistrialized country NOT to have universal health care? How can it be that doctors working for health insurance companies make MORE money and move up the career ladder the MORE claims they deny? How can it be that a system has been set up that doesn't take care of the sick, poor and elderly but rather is set up to maximize profits for insurance companies? I was already mad about all of this, but the movie crystallized my conviction and gave concrete examples. Seems like many other countries are doing a better job of taking care of people and yet we are the country that prides itself on being a "Christian" nation. Seems to me that these other countries are truly living "what would Jesus do" in the health care area...
