You can't make a sequal to Titanic because the ship sank to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Go to the library and get a book on the Titanic.

How exactly could they make a sequel? The ship sank!
I could see something along the lines of perhaps a prequel showing Rose's and Jack's life before the Titanic. Or maybe a sequel showing Rose trying to cope with Jack's death and near-death experience while trying to build a life for herself in America.
Now, I do know Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet will be starring in another movie together, but that movie won't be ANYTHING along the lines of a Titanic sequel.

They will make it as soon as they're done making these other fine films:
The Ten Commandments 2: Try Harder
Pearl Harbor 2: Revenge Of The Ships
JFK 2: John Of The Dead
Schindler's List 2: Lists Of Fury

they can't make a sequel b/c they showed the boat sinking. it was history. if it was fictional then there would have been a sequel but since the boat sank, there's nothing left to tell.

The Titanic had a sister ship, The Britannic, which was used during the first world war as a hospital ship but was hit by a mine and sank in 1916.
So possible.
