the movie is about 20-25 years old

the only scene i remember is a lady has this power to remove a disease ( like cancer, ms, cp, etc.) from one person into her own body, then she either cures herself or the illness just goes away. i think she may have died at the end but ...

does anyonw know if firefly the series that was originally on fox coming back, it was cancelled the first season because of low ratings, but they never advertised it, and when it came out on the sci fi channel, it took off, an instant hit. on josh whedon's web site, he said,he will do everything in his power to bring it back, that out of all his projects, this was his baby, his favorite love. so when is it coming back?

I remember watching a film back in the very early 90's about a seriel killer that was on the loose. The police couldn't solve the murders so they asked a psychic to help out and her name was Casey. She went to one of the murder sites and managed to get visions of what went on etc etc. However, it turns out that the murderer is also psychic and knows that she is helping the police. He is able to psychically connect with her and ends up following her i think. This is a very vague memory but i know i really liked it but cannot remember for the life of me what it was called.

Does anybody recognise this??
