I am looking to find the name of a movie I saw when I was younger, it was in the early 80's.

The movie was about a group of young adults who were in the woods either camping out or playing paintball.

Some guys who were either escapee's or just nuts came over to them and started killing them off, they would kill the men and capture and rape/kill the women.

I remember one woman being tied up to a tree and left to die, while another was 'staked' to the ground with tent spikes to die by the campfire.

The one surviving guy goes nuts and hunts the criminals down one by one, I remember him painting his face at one point to hide I guess...

The end had some explosion, I think he found a cabin filled with gun powder or something like that.

If anyone has any idea what movie this is, please let me know. Thanks.

Everyone has different tastes of humor. Do you guys love or hate that type of slapstick comedy(Chris Farley, Will Ferrell, Jim Carey) It's like half the world thinks its hilarious the other have thinks it's just stupid and dumb. just curious.

Mine was at the very end when Warren was going back home and was questioning on if he mattered in the world. And then when opening his mail he got the letter from his sponsered child....after reading the letter, he looked at the picture that the child drew. The expression on Jack Nicholsons face is pure movie magic.....

would you forgo having any "movie star" presense in a movie that shook you to your being or do you more enjoy seeing your favorite actor do "thier thing"?




my bias in thIs question is that I am SICK of mainstream "movie stars" playing "thier craft" and wonder why they exist in films at all - they usually overshadow and actually sabatoge the integrity of the film's storlyline and characters .....and I just sit their gawking at Angelina Jolie's massive lips and t i ts.

What is your opinion? Please spew freely!!

And if you have, did you see the previews before the movie? There was a preview about two kids (they were sibilings, a boy and a girl) and they were both extremely gifted. Seemed like it could be an alien-related type of movie. Anyone know the name of it? I think the name of the movie was the name of the little girl's bear (she said it taught her everything). Just can't remember what it was!

When I go to the movies I love to see trailers for upcoming movies before the feature presentation. And I don't mind seeing a couple of public service announcements either. But I totally hate watching TV commercials after paying too much to get in to go and see a movie. I'm talking about ads for soft drinks, juice, cars, video game systems, and a bunch of other stuff that never used to be shown during movie previews. In the near future you'll see movies released in theatres, on DVD, and on Pay-per-view all at the same time. Market studies have shown that this is the best way to maximize profits for the film. This has many theatre owners and 'purists' very upset. Well, I say that if they don't like it then make the theatre going experience more enjoyable. Make it cheaper and take out the TV commercials!
So, what I am asking here is the following: Do you hate seeing these ads after paying for the movie? And do you know where one can find a campaign against this? Thanks.

How many other times have we heard the word `Venus` used in popular culture context?

Ie `Popcorn Venus` the wif book which pre-empted Ms. Shevey`s own thesis

`Venus`, the film currently playing, which denigrates the eponymous character.....
