It was a Black and White, took place duirng a hot summer , believe the lead actress was going to commit suicide and this man with an eye patch takes her to his apartment. This is really all I can remember, it has been over 30 years since I have seen it.

I saw Jeremiah Johnson when it first came out and I remember that it was at least 4 hours long. Now it is cut down to about 2 hours. Does anyone know where I can get a version of the uncut movie ?
