I visited this motel and had strong recollections of a movie, featuring wannabe movie star and some has-been low grade porn stars hanging out round the pool. Does anyone remember which movie this may be? Does anyone know for sure if the Days Inn Motel on Hollywood Blvd, CA was used as location for any movie shoot?

This movie has a scene where the sniper makes a woman chain herself to a hotdog stand while talking to her on a cell phone. He is trying to lure in her husband who is the owner of a gun manufacturing company. I believe there was a concert in a theatre nearby. I can't remember the name of the movie or who plays in it. I mean the old version w/Gregory Peck & Robert Mitchum. Just rented it a few days ago and it was excellent. Very suspenseful and worth seeing.
