its in american history x, where edward norton catches a guy trying to break into his house. he catches him, and asks him to put his mouth on the pavement and bite the edge of the kerb. he then stamps on the back of the guys head. they dont actually show this, but you hear the sound it makes and its awful...
i remember watching this at uni with a group of guys, and most of them couldnt stomach it either... i love that movie, but cannot listen to or watch that scene... very disturbing...

I have to say the dinner scene in the first Alien movie, when the baby Alien popped out of that guy's chest. Wow! (I read an article on that scene afterwards, and it said that the director, Ridley Scott, didn't tell the cast what was gonna happen, because he wanted to capture the real expressions on their faces. If you watch that scene again, you can see it worked. I think Sigourney Weaver almost fainted! LOL

wow, so many to choose from
pesci getting whacked w/ baseball bats
the canary getting its head bitten off then having the blood drank from his corpse in "the hills have eyes"
but the best non-movie death scene was in a clive barker short story "the yattering and the jack". guy reach down a dude's throat, pulled his insides out his mouth, then dragged him up the stairs by them.

The sleeping nurse who was covered in green syrup and then eaten alive by thousands of hungry locusts in the movie
"The abominable Doctor Phibes". The locusts covered every inch of her body while they ate her. Minutes later only her clean skeleton remained. The scene bothered me so much it stayed with me for days.
