late 50's. The men were either greasers or rah rahs . The
greasers had the hot muscle cars , most of the guys were or
knew how to fix their own cars. The other college oriented guys
were the mustang group, wore sweater, shoes that were loafers .
The girls with the greasers had their hair cut into a Bob or teased
their hair , tight sweaters and skirts and the cheerleaders with the
college guys had poodle skirts, ponytails, or hairbands, bobbysox
This was before my era, but the start of rock and roll. For
entertainment there were alot of drive ins and drag races, and
dances. American Graffitti is another 50's era movie. Both were
good movies

It was set in the early 60's. The clothing included poodle skirts, saddle shoes, cardigan sweater sets, pearl jewelry. The preppy guys wore argyle cardigan sweaters, bow ties, pants that were just a little too high.
The "bad" kids wore tight pants, white T Shirts w/ their cigarettes rolled up in the sleeves, and leather jackets. Gotta have the leather! :)
