Why are they making Clerks II? The first movie is over 10 years old and was made on a low budget. Can't there be any original movies, I enough sequels. Why or why?

At least for now, I believe that the franchise has died or is at least in a coma. (I am a fan and not a basher of Trek, mind you). So when did it "jump the shark" or reach it's peak and start to decline. Some would may say as early as Gene Roddenberry's death or even earlier.
I think it happened when Rick Berman decided that "ST Insurrection" did not need a large advertising effort. Later his straying from the formula of the TNG movies by a) waiting 4 years between films, b)not having any commericial support for Nemesis, and c)the insaned editing of Nemesis. Tell me what you think.

I am not so sure if other comics/comedy actors of that era have "aged" as well (e.g. Chaplin, Keaton)...but those blithering boys are still fun!

Mine is Eric Ashley-Pitt, "Dispersal", of course Hilts is cool too! Roger Bartlett, Von Luger, Hendley, Blythe, Sedgwick, and capt. Ramsey are a few others I think are cool. But Ashley-Pitt is the coolest (to me anyway lol!).

The film is, "Father Of The Bride 2". There is a scene near the end where the two wives are giving birth at the same time. One of them has complecations and there was a blues type of song playing when the cameras go into slow motion. I think the guy singing sang, you always make a fool out of me,

I thought that because of the first movie the curse was broken for the whole crew even the monkey? Any clarification would be great. The only advice i got was that it would be answered in the thrid and final movie.
