Anyway these boys were stranded on a island and start fighting with each other and hunting each other. At the end I guess they get saved and a military man walks up on the beach and it goes off.

I would say that gladiator is one of the most inspiring movies of all times. Russel Crow played an excellent gladiator roll in the movie. Excellent acting by him, two thumbs up!
