I would say that gladiator is one of the most inspiring movies of all times. Russel Crow played an excellent gladiator roll in the movie. Excellent acting by him, two thumbs up!

I would say it was, but that is only because I love to watch it with the action scenes. Plus, I think Russel Crowe played an awesome part in that movie which combined with the action, made a great film.

Sorry, no. This was a more glitzy re-make of "Fall of the Roman Empire" starring Sophia Loren. Of course, throughout the movie there are thefts from other 'sword and sandal' epics like Spartacus.
But, all in all, there was very little new in the movie except the ending which suggested that the Pagan heaven is in fact real, something our Conservative friends apparently felt was not that big of a deal.

Umm..No. Spartacus with Kirk Douglas is a much better film than Gladiator. Gladiator might be one of the top 10 movies of the 1990's but not overall.

I totally agree with you, it is in my top 10 list. A beautiful movie, so inspiring, it was just brilliant! I cry every time I watch it, I just get so emotional.. And Crowe did an amazing job.

I like the movie but it's not on my top ten. I'm more of a thriller type like Silence of the Lambs.
