North and South? With Patrick Swayze....I loved those movies, but only books one and two--the third was terrible!

That was a great mini-series! I didn't know there were books based on it (or maybe the mini-series was based on the books?)
When that mini-series aired here in Israel, there was no cable TV, only two crummy channels. EVERYONE watched "North and South" and talked about every episode! It was THE show to watch.

Yes and does anyone remember V??? From the 80's with the aliens and stuff?? Mini series rocked. Now there is nothing like it and it kinda sucks :P
