Movies - 20 June 2006

Is it just me or have there been a lack of good Horror movies in the paste few years? Every scary movie these days are spoofs, half comedies or blood fests. The latest trend seems to be "if we chop peole up, it will be scary!" There has been no depth to any of the recent films. What do you think?

It seems like anytime i catch someone falling alseep while watching a movie they claim they were awake the whole time! I even do it. Why do people feel like they have to lie about it?

I have seen alot of Alien Invasion Movies in my life. Some were much better than others. Which Alien Invasion Movies have been the best? The two best that come to my head are "War of the Worlds(2005 Version) and Independence Day..What are yours?

there is a movie that i'm guessing came out some time in the 60's. i'm in my 20's now and i can remember watching when i was very very young. i thought the name of the movies was babes in toy land with dick van dyke but i looked on imdb.com and its not listed. All i can remember is that theres 2 kids and a woman dressed in a yellow flury dress and a man. one of the songs that is song in the movie is song by walking tree's (not the wizard oz) they say "this is as far as we go, heres were your troubles begin go over the bridge something something something and all of your turn your self in" its a musical. also i know in the begining she sings a song about marring one of the bad guys and about not having any money. if you can please help...thx for reading

Ummm I was kinda watching a movie last night I say kinda because I slept through almost the whole thing but I remember in one part one of the songs in like the background or whatever was " Every time we touch" by cascada does anyone happen to know what the title of the movie was I'd like to actually watch it lol but I cant remember the title can some one help me with this please? not that the movie was boring but i had just gotten off work where i had just compleated a duble shift so thats why i kept falling asleep lol

Trying to find the title of a movie about a boy in a can that is delivered to a lonely woman, this is a Disney type movie from the 80's. Someone said it was about a factory that made 'perfect children' and then they deliver one on accident to a lonely woman. Any help would be great! may have been a book first, either title would really help! Thanks!
