Shouldn't the advertising reduce the cost of the magazine or are you buying the advertising and getting the measly few articles for free.

I really want to find a magazine that dont have articles like "the perfect jeans to match your face" etc.

I signed up for Seventeen magazine about a year ago and with that subscription I was supposed to get a free make up bag and I haven't yet. I've sent them a letter and e-mailed them, but the only way I could e-mail them was to go under customer service and the closest thing I could find was a missed issue. So I wrote to them and expained that it wasn't an issue that I'm missing and that it was a free gift. I haven't heard from them and it's been about a month. What do I do?

National Geo's are so loaded with ink that a stack of them 2'-high weighs a ton. I gotta lose some of these issues, I've got like 20 of each month. Maybe the prisons or jails want some.
