I read it after my husband and kids left for a vacation. (I volunteered to stay home.) Anyway, the loneliness added to the bittersweet story and I was bawling by the last chapter! I read it again the next night and got the same result, even though I knew the ending already. Yeah, that one really got to me!

Someone asked about the author. It's Mitch Albom.

One of my top five books. I actually read it twice and cried both times. I am no longer afraid to die. That is weird.

yea it was a great book and the movie was also touching they play it one abcfamily sometimes. if you havent seen it you should rent it. its not as well developed as the book but its still a must see

both of my sisters had to read it in college and they said they hated it,but it was a couple weeks after my mom passed away they had to read it.so that may have been why.

No I haven't read the book but I've seen the movie. I love that movie...it's really touching! ( I didn't even know there was a book, thanks for tellin me!)
