JFK and RFK- I knew it would be worth something one day, now i can't part with it.

I also have collected magazines that where printed the day I was born so they are 33 years old.

Nearly-yes! And I used to buy older magazines at second-hand stores (there was one I saw with Alexis Bledel on the cover from 2002, which I remember reading in the library when I started high school, but it wasn't there anymore when I came back) if they were interesting enough, or I wanted it but never got to catch it when it was out!
Magazines are a part of my life- and history!
Very interesting articles, stories, celebrities.
You can see what the news was then and how things were like, and if they have changed since! My fam knows I will KILL anyone who throws them out! My mum had asked me to throw mine out YEARS ago!-but I have just gotten more since! Delicious gossip!
It reminds you of the good old times, eg. when the Nintendo was new, and the Lion King was the hottest movie of the moment!
Plus I LOVE to keep the interesting, helpful and maybe sad stories, exclusive interviews and the rare celebrity photo-shoots!

Not over 10 years...but have at least two 5-year magazines - one of Time from 9-11 and another of Australian Aviation when Ansett Australia collapsed after 65 years in Aussie skies...

Funny you should ask. Just today I threw out some magazines at my mother's house that went back to 1972. Believe it or not, I kept the Southern Living mags. It was strange looking at Jennifer O'Neal and Maude Adams and Cybill Shepherd when they were teenagers. I even found one that had Twiggy on it. Had they been in decent condition, I would have kept a few, but they were pretty ragged. She had also kept a ton of eight-track tapes. It was quite a trip down memory lane.

I used to save teen magazines from ages 13 to 17 but then my dog peed all over them and that was the end of that.

1995 Sports Illustrated with Ed O'Bannon on the cover when UCLA won the NCAA championship. Why? Home team and they probably won't win another.
