i dont get why team rocket always wants to get pikachu so bad. there are other far more stronger and rarer pokemon than ash's pikachu, so why do they always want to catch pikachu??

My first anime was DragonBall Z. When I saw the characters moving fast as heck and doing all those martial arts and energy blast, I couldn't believe my eyes. I was thinking who in the world came up with this? At the time, I thought all the animation/cartoons were from America.

I can't remember the name of the cartoon, but if I remember correctly it aired in the early to mid 90's......the cartoon was based on a human character that fought with a bunch of robots....all I remember is there were robots and the human character looked something similar to speed racer (he wore a helmet)..I really don't know how to explain it any better.
