I have been reading good manga, but when I look for the anime they don't have it.

1. The manga-ka just started writing, so may not have been picked up all that well YET.
2. Deathnote is popular, but it hasn't go until what? The tenth volume till it is animated? Give it time.
3. Manga-ka don't normally have a say in the animated version unless they are someone like Rumiko Takahashi or Ken Akamatsu. But, they may have standards on who is to animate.
4. It's new. Simply put.

It may be because they didn't make an anime for it yet.
