By "kids cartoons" i do NOT mean Family Guy or anime shows that are geared toward older viewers because i know a LOT of people enjoy them. Also I don't mean the Pixar and DreamWorks stuff because you know EVERYONE watches them.

I believe there are family cartoons on TV that are pretty smart and could be enjoyed by adults. Could you list some of your favorites that are on right now? As an adult my current favorites family cartoons are:

"The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy"
"Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends"

The designs and concepts are just awesome!

This statue depicts the famous arctic explorer Ann Bancroft (www.yourexepdition.com). It is from the "Looking for Lucy" Parade in St. Paul, MN from 2001. I'd like to ell it or auction it, but eBay does not seem to be the right place for it.

I can remember it vaguely but can't remember specifics -- from the mid-1980s, a science-fiction graphic novel, published in a collection. It's set on another planet in a sodom/gomorrah type city in which a jet-setter guy, who is into exotic pets, purchases four sets of ant-like creatures in four different colours. They are really sophisticated and start off worshipping him, but then he mistreats them and they turn evil. They also grow to the size of environment they're in, so of course they get out of their cage, become man-sized and consume his whole house.

Sorry for the obscure reference. Does this ring any bells with anyone? It was a fantastic story.

If you're answering this, you're probably a comic fan and I'll put a second part of the question. Who is your favorite artist, or if you can't decide, who are your favorite artists and why?
