This step-by-step method works almost every time. Choose which animal you want to draw, say, a cat. So draw a shape for the head, a circle or an oval depending on what kind of cat it is. Then draw an array of shapes to use as the muscles, the makings of the cat. This way you can put it into whatever pose you want to by expanding or contracting any set of muscles. Then, add the features on the head by drawing light lines around it as eye-lines, where you want to draw the eyes. Add other features accordingly. Give the cat some skin and fur, and you're done! Note: This will not work for small animals such as shrews, mice, etc.

I'm not really good at giving step by step instruction. I did give an Anime How to draw lesson to my friend. I even drew pictures that showed how to do each step. Over the Internet is hard. You should draw mermaids and angels (always look the best dark or light)
I hope it's okay If I give you a few websites that'll help you.

To be perfectly frank, step-by-step drawing lessons, like "how to draw this cat" or whatever, are pretty much a waste of time, because all you learn is how to draw one picture. It's much better to learn basic principles so that you can draw many things if you want to.

I would give you links, but really it depends on what you want to draw. Also, it might be better for you (just starting out) to grab a sketchbook or two and just draw.
