I can't say I'm a huge fan, but in looking back at the controversy, don't you think it was a ridiculous over-reaction to throw him off the air and to be treated like some racist pariah? Did he really say something that terrible, or was he simply being Imus? Doesn't he make fun of everyone, especially himself, and just try to push the envelope? Weren't some of the people who tried to hang him just being incredibly hypocritical?
