If you mean What Were the best songs,they were bands like the Stones,Freddy and the dreamers,The Hollies,The Beatles.etc etc.
There are so many "dance"tracks that it's impossible to list them,so just google it.

For slow dancing - 'Strangers in the night' and 'Something stupid'. For fast dancing 'Gimme some lovin' and 'Wild thing'.

people would dance to whatever was in the charts i personally think the sixties were great a good dance song was twist again by a guy called chubby checker not my personal favourite but people liked it! bobmaripass@hahoo.co.uk
