she's nice...but very awkward. i try to warm up to her and she just doesn't seem to care about getting to know me any better. she and my brother have been together two years. she is spending christmas with us this year...she has before and it was very awkward. i am not really looking forward to christmas this year. is this normal? what can i/should i do about it?

Mine is not verbally expressive of his feelings for me, is not as affectionate in public and doesn't enjoy telling me exactly what his feelings are for me. But, alone and in private, he is amazing, caring, intense and passionate. When he holds me, it's strong and for a long time (like he doesn't want to let go).
