I'm a bit behind in the whole celeb/singer gossip thingy. I saw this on the front page of People Magazine and saw that Jessica Simpson is with someone new.

Scratching my head, I thought she was with John Mayer.

I normally don't care who's with who but what concerns me is these individuals seem to rebound from relationship to relationship so quickly that it boggles my mind. And it seems as if they date other celebrities and not anyone else (there are plenty of well-rounded non-celebs out there that would be just as good). Apparently, dating someone completely non-famous is beneath them

Can someone enlighten me on the "mating habits" of Hollywood? Is this normal or are these people out of touch with reality?
