Don't know if it was the same survey but it had the top 100 country artist of all times also.The top 5 were
1- Johnny Cash
2-Hank Williams
3-Merle Haggard
4- Patsy Cline
5- Jimmy Rogers

The top 5 songs were;
1-He Stopped Loving Her Today-George Jones
2- Crazy-Patsy Cline
3- Your Cheating Heart-Hank Williams
4- I Fall To Pieces-Patsy Cline
5- El Paso-Marty Robbins

Like I said this may not be the same survey but this is one I saw last week.
Oh "Hey Good Looking" was number 37.

I'll say it made the top 10 list maybe 8. It is one of my favorite Hank Sr. songs.

At the time he sang it,our country was right for such a song,for those who don't recall or had not come along yet,you would not understand,the state,social state.I'm sure someone smarter,or older than I can explain.

i somewhat get excitement from his means with recitations , he did a album observed as memories of the yukon,this is basically large! also to boot to three large vocals,he change into between the finished flat pickers ever! his knowledge on guitar not in any respect recieved the credit it change into due! hank snow crossed many song lines and change into very a lot at domicile with dixieland jazz to boot!

I don't watch TV, but I think "Settin' the Woods on Fire" is his best honky-tonk tune.
