A mafioso's son is sitting at his desk, writing a Christmas list to Jesus. First he writes, "Dear Baby Jesus, I have been a good boy the whole year, so I want a new..." He looks at it, then crumples it up into a ball and throws it away.

He gets out a new piece of paper and writes again, "Dear Baby Jesus, I have been a good boy for most of the year, so I want a new..." He again looks at it with disgust and throws it away.

Then he gets an idea. He goes into his mother's room, takes a statue of the Virgin Mary, puts it in the closet, and locks the door. He takes another piece of paper and writes, "Dear Baby Jesus. If you ever want to see your mother again..."

Allen's nebbish character stops before Annie Hall. Upto that point, his best movie was Sleeper. The Tramp character ends with Modern Times. After that, Allen's best work is in Manhattan, everything else is directing or supporting roles. Allen isnt Bergmann, and he may not even be a modern day Chaplin. What do you think?

sick and tired of life? Fed up with people and how we're all hypocrits? Disgusted at everyone for judging everyone else on their looks, when the body will only get old and ugly with time?

OK i'm NOT sending food-for all you wise @sses out there. the kids at the children home get plenty. i posted another question of what else to send them. Unfortunately, I have limited options of where to go. the places near me are:

Staples
CVS
Starbucks
Block Buster
A local pharmacy/store
a couple thrift stores
a Hallmark store
a comic book store

which of these do you think would be my best bet to find cute stuff for the kids? clothes, coloring books, candy, jewelry, etc.
