Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat
A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase
Your bathroom lines are 80% shorter
You get credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness
You can be showered and ready in 10 minutes
You can go to the bathroom without a support group

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"

DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?" replied the man.

SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"

DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily.

SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"

DAD: "If you must know, I make $20 an hour."

"Oh," the little boyreplied, with his head down. Looking up, he said, "Daddy, may I please borrow $10?

"The father was furious," If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior."

I was in a Chinese restaurant the other day, and I started thinking... If I moved to another country and decided to open a restaurant- the cuisine being from my own native culture, what would I have on the menu? (I'm from USA, so I'd have to have burgers and fries.. maybe some Southern fried chicken, mashed potatoes, pizza (American style), mac and cheese... what about PB&J? Biscuits and grits may not go over so well, but it was a thought...)

Anyway, the question for you is--
Where are you from, and if you moved to another country and opened a restaurant featuring your native cuisine, what would YOU have on the menu?
