It's kinda embarrassing to say, but I relate more to fictional characters. I often read a book or watch a movie and there is a character that I really identify with. Either I would love to be their friend, or feel like I have so much in common with them and that we would "get" each other if we met. Rarely do I meet anyone like that in real life. If there was only a way to turn them into real people.

Both, because sometimes it seems like "real people" are not what they appear to be. And often times when I watch "fictional characters" on tv or read about them in novels, they seem like they would be a good person to talk to or hang out with in real life.

Fictional characters. Real people are far more complicated.

It's easier to relate to fictional characters they aren't as multi dimensional as real people

Real people. Fictional people always have these crazy things going on in their lives and my life is always pretty boring :)

With my unending imagination, I relate to fictional characters. I am prone to flights of fancy. I love Peter Pan, James Bond, and the cast of Lost.
