I was in a Chinese restaurant the other day, and I started thinking... If I moved to another country and decided to open a restaurant- the cuisine being from my own native culture, what would I have on the menu? (I'm from USA, so I'd have to have burgers and fries.. maybe some Southern fried chicken, mashed potatoes, pizza (American style), mac and cheese... what about PB&J? Biscuits and grits may not go over so well, but it was a thought...)
Anyway, the question for you is--
Where are you from, and if you moved to another country and opened a restaurant featuring your native cuisine, what would YOU have on the menu?

USA-how about a menu that has dishes from several regions with typical dishes from the region, like BBQ, sweet tea, and banana pudding, etc from the south. From the southwest, some typical dishes...I think you get the idea.

I'm from Australia. I'd have: meat pies, lamingtons, pavlova, vegemite on toast, milk with milo, some good aussie beer (VB), anzac biscuits, bangers and mash (sausages and mashed potato), damper.

i would open one hear, i woul dhave killer sanwiches and b urgers. the best breakfst menu, super good salads, chicken dishes, pasta dishes, some salmon dinner, good veggies w/ dinners. and good soup!low carb dishes, good appetizers! i would love to have my own restaurant! good desserts too!
