I went out with a girl whose mom married her dad when she was 18, and he was 32. Sounds kind of funny to me, what do you think?

That's a bit much with her only 18. But, if she was 22 or 24 and he was 36 or 38, I don't see a problem with that.

Hm... I think it depends on the people involved. Usually its not a very good idea as an 18 yr old is pretty green to the world, and the 32 yr old has been around a bit, so you have a maturity and judgment difference. Its will work out for some people because relationships are hit nd miss. Eitehr they're right for you or not, most likely not. It takes a few tries but once someone settles, the age isn't a big factor.

I think it's relative...

The difference between an 18-year old and a 32-year old is a lot bigger than.... say a 68-year old and a 72-year old. The age difference is the same, but the cultural and maturity difference is much less.

I agree that it is kinda odd, but I dated a guy that was 14 years older than I was.... it only lasted about 6 months, but I think that was more his issues and his job than the age difference.

Doesn't sound too much to me. I have a 14 year age difference with my significant other.

It is hard to imagine the common interests an 18 yo has to share with 32 old man.

If it worked..it worked. I see no problem with it really. I dated a man 12 yrs. older than me. And I dated a man 10 yrs. younger..both were great relationships..age never seemed a issue.
Ciao!

Coming from someone who is 20 years younger than their partner, I don't see anything wrong with it. Age is nothing but a number, and I believe if two people are on in love, despite their age, there's nothing wrong with it.

It totally depends on the people. There are some people who aren't suited for each other regardless of 1 year or 14... It just depends on the people.
It is impossible to judge people just based on numbers.

That creepy because it's obvious he was dating her when she was still a minor. If they were older like she was in her 20s then it wouldn't matter
