y do ppl fight over stupid things, why do ppl kill, why do ppl beat others and why do we have hate everywhere....only way i understand it is to think that all those ppl are mentally challenged and cant control their rage, cuz if they had average brain thoughts, they would see that all fighting is in vain, y no peace, who cares if one's tougher than the other? doesnt matter, and no im not a skinny nerd trying to find sympathy, im just a crapped up dude feeling sad cuz he's gotta a bad high goin.....but yeah uh........ pickle!

The song could have been horrible to begin with......or it could just be the band who remade it or the other way around....The remake could be even better than the original. Get what Im saying? I would love to hear as many opinions as possible.

Actually I like Bill Withers but I dont think I have ever heard this song before by them. On the other hand I just heard Doobie Brothers remake this song and it is horrible. I dont know if its because they were singing it or if its just a bad sond to begin with?

This song...is an older song...probably in the 80's and it talks about....a guy that still has feelings for his ex....but he has a new lady...and the new lady has never done anything wrong....and he doesn't want to just push her out of his life....like the ex wants him to do or something??
