When I was very young I was asked to go to a fish and chip shop to buy a 'special' which involved going into the shop and shouting out 'a special please' I was too embarrased so I went home and told my Mum the fish shop was 'closed for lunch' I still cringe about it and it was over 40 years ago....

There are a lot of self centered people who gives a thumb down just because they got their toes stepped on. I thought the reason of the thumbs up or thumbs down was whether or not the answer was relevant to the question or was just plain stupid.
I don't think it should be used, just because you disagree with his answer. I have given a thumbs up to answers I totally was in disagreement with, but their answer was thorough and thought out. What do you think.

From what I've researched, the two are VERY similar. But the odds are always against him. He's my favorite X-man and I cant understand the animosity. When people comment on his background not being very well thought out, I ask how that is plausible when other characters have such far-fetched and ridiculous stories. If anything, his story is more realistic. But thats my opinion, wus yours?

A crack-head amongst a crowd of other spectators watched as a woman cried for help to save her child from a burning building, 5 stories up.

The crack-head yelled up, "Drop the baby, I'll catch it!" The woman didn't know the man was a crack-head and tossed her baby down.

The crack-head, ran, caught the baby, tucked the baby under and rolled over, stood back up and raised the unharmed baby in the air.

The crowd began to cheer in relief, and the crack-head forgot where he was, and spiked the baby and began a touchdown victory dance.
