I just stumbled upon a site that showed some horrible pictures of victims of the Iraq war including several American soldiers with their faces blown off. When you see this stuff it adds a whole new dimension to the issue. I think that that motherf*cker should be held personally responsible for these deaths. By the way I voted for him and I am not a liberal. I also believe that Islam is an evil and wicked religion.

I live on Roosevelt Island and I was taking the tram home from Manhattan and noticed (how could I not?) that they were filming a music video on it. The singer was a light blonde guy with an acoustic guitar. The lyrics of the song included something like "these are the best days of my life" or "those were the best days of my life". He also said 'red wine' in the song. When I aksed him what his name was, I couldn't quite catch it, because I had to leave quickly. He said to check him out on Myspace, something like Mack White. Can anyone please help me find this singer? I really liked the song.

A man who was in his mid-forties just bought a brand new sports car, he was speeding along the highway, when in his rear-veiw mirror he saw sirens flashing.
The man thought to himself, 'Hmm, I should really test this car out' so he sped even faster down the highway.
With the cop car still pursuing him he thought 'This is ridculous, what am I doing?' So he decided to pull over.
The cop got out of his car, furious and said to the man, 'Right mate, it's Anzac Day, and I've nearly finished my shift, if you give me a bloody good reason why you were speeding, I'll let you go.'
The man thought for a moment then said, 'Just last week my wife left me for a police officer, I thought you were giving her back.'
The cop said, 'Alright mate off ya go.' And got back into his car and drove off.

Do you think she really decided to not to renew her contract, or do you think she wasn't offered more time at the View?

Unfortunately, it makes me SICK to think of--but i KNOW donald trump is gloating right now.

I have a hate/love relationship with Rosie. I think she can be a very kind and generous person, She says inappropriate things- Some I agree with, some I don't, some that make me laugh, some that make me cringe. But that is her right. I just think she was too fun, crazy and liberal for Barbara Walters...and she stole the show. The View will go back to being the snooze-fest it was before she arrived.

(By the way, I am a Republican and STILL like Rosie--so don't put me on a blast for being a liberal and excusing her behavior)

Listened to Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Smiths, Sisters of Mercy, The English Beat, The Specials .....tons of British bands that as soon as they were played on the radio there were no longer concidered "underground"
