Listened to Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Smiths, Sisters of Mercy, The English Beat, The Specials .....tons of British bands that as soon as they were played on the radio there were no longer concidered "underground"
If so, who did you like, and do you miss those days as much as I do????? =)

I sure was. I miss the 80's. Although I loved the music and the clothes. The bands you listed were great but don't forget Duran Duran. And black - leather and lace. What a great Q.

Yes I was. Though I didn't wear a lot of black, I did wear army boots!

Ministry, Sisters of Mercy, The Mission, Bauhaus, P.I.L., Sex Pistols....they were fun days!

Now we have all this punk-pop crap like My Chemical Romance, Sum 41, Green Day, Blink 182.......I could go on and on. It's a disgrace! Just because they wear black and have tats doesn't make them punk!
