Songs like those, I'm not really familiar with these types of songs, so any good recommendations of these types of songs would be appreciated.

Preferably female vocals, but I also love a song with good male vocals.

Thanks a bunch! I wish I grew up with these songs instead of what they play nowadays. lol

What two songs and or bands on your ipod are complete polar opposites? You know the two..the songs that, should your ipod ever be stolen would simply confuse the thief as to what kind of music you liked.

As I have a three year old, I have quite a few children's songs. ( thankfully he does like David Bowie, Violent Femmes, and the B52's as well)

That being said, I would have to say that my polar opposite songs would be "Apples and Bananas " by Raffi and "MTV Get off the Air" by the Dead Kennedys.

My mom didn't let me have a boyfriend until I was sixteen and I do not plan on letting my daughters, either. Does that make my family strange?
