A woman goes into a pet shop looking for a parrot. The assistant shows her a beautiful African Grey parrot.

"What about this one, Madam? A beautiful bird, and it’s an absolute steal at only $20."

"Why is it that cheap?" the woman asks.

"Well", replies the assistant, "it used to live in a brothel and as a result its language is a touch fruity".

"Oh, I don't mind that", said the woman, making her mind up, "I'm broad minded and it'll be a laugh having a profane parrot". So saying, she buys the parrot and takes him home.

Once safely in his new home, the parrot looks around and squawks at the woman. "F**k me, a new brothel and a new madam".

"I'm not a madam and this is not a brothel" scolds the woman trying not to laugh.

A little later the womans two teenage daughters arrive home.

"Un f**king-believable. A new brothel, a new madam, and now two new prostitutes" says the parrot when he sees the daughters.

"Mum, tell your parrot to shut up, we're not prostitutes" complain the girls, but they all see the funny side and have a laugh at their new pet.

A short while later, the woman's husband Dave comes home.

"In f**king-credible, a new brothel, a new madam, new prostitutes, but the same old clients. How ya doin', Dave?"

There was a detective show in the 1980's on PBS I think for kids/young adults that got clues from a computer to solve mysteries. It was one of my favorites does anyone know what it was called? LOL!

I have been watching it on Bravo and loving it. Just saw the final episode last night and I think I that is one of the best finales I ever saw, only weakness was Billy's makeup, they just gave him gray hair otherwise he looked the same. I was wondering about Maggie in the dr's office (when she gets a call from Ruth). It definitely was not clear what she was there for but I was thinking she might have been pregnant with Nate's baby. Any thoughts or speculations?

I do. I love Dilbert and have the tv series on DVD. It was cancelled because it was put on the wrong station for that type of humor. I wish it would haave lasted more than two seasons...

Guys u gotta help me. Don't really know where this qst fits in but I posted it up here cos it kinda has to do with Destiny's Child. You know B refers to her assistant Angie Beyince as Makeetata in the Destiny Fulfilled thank yous & Solange refers to someone as Makeetata on her thank yous for Solo Star.

I know pple also use the word to refer to each other but it's not that common cos it's not in the urban dictionary so my qst is

1) Where DC is concerned who is Makeetata?
2) In general what does Makeetata mean?

I am 21 year old female and I dont consider myself an expert on sex or anything of that sort but I went to borrow some paper from my 18 year old brothers tablet and I saw a paper he had on the inside front cover and it was a list of women he " spanked the monkey to " and I couldnt believe all the women on there. It was like pages of 500 plus women from celebrities like Lindsay Lohan to some of my parents female friends to even female cousins. There was also a section called " skirt with no panties section " with names underneath that. Should I be alarmed? Should I show this to his school counselor or tell my dad? I am worried.

One stereotypical statement i hear that may be somewhat true is about black people...

Most of the black people i grew up with loved chicken lol....i grew up in an all black neighborhood and at our school they would serve chicken all the time

but ive also learned that other races like it also, so maybe its not true...

what stereotype do you think is true?
