Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born ! in 1939. Both assassins were known by their three names. Both names are composed of fifteen letters. Now hang on to your seat. Lincoln was shot at the theater named "Ford". Kennedy was shot in a car called "Lincoln" made by "Ford". Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials. And here\'s the "kicker": A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland. A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe. AND.....................: Lincoln was shot in a theater and the assassin ran to a warehouse... Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the assassin ran to a theater...

We were watching a movie the other day, and I made the comment that something was 'Dead Grotty'

My dad got mad, because apparently, he didn't know what I meant. I said "You know, grotty... grotesque."

And he said "OH, you mean Grow-tee."

Now we're in an argument. I read somewhere that Brits pronounce it 'Grot-ee', but the yanks pronounce it 'grow-tee' or 'grow-dee'

hmmm? There's no real right or wrong answer, just opinion.

A police officer pulls over a speeding car. The officer says, "I clocked you at 80 miles per hour, sir."

The driver says, "Gee, officer I had it on cruise control at 60, perhaps your radar gun needs calibrating."

Not looking up from her knitting the wife says: "Now don't be silly dear, you know that this car doesn't have cruise control."

As the officer writes out the ticket, the driver looks over at his wife and growls, "Can't you please keep your mouth shut for once?"

The wife smiles demurely and says, "You should be thankful your radar detector went off when it did."

As the officer makes out the second ticket for the illegal radar detector unit, the man glowers at his wife and says through clenched teeth, "Tarnation, woman, can't you keep your mouth shut?"

The officer frowns and says, "And I notice that you're not wearing your seat belt, sir. That's an automatic $75 fine."

I recently participated in a local high school choral group contest a few days ago [we got a superior, yeah!], and there is a few songs that I really want to find, is there a site where I can look up songs that were in the program? Or the choirs preforming them?
I'm kinda at a loss right now, I'm willing to try almost anything. [ by the way the school is Wanatchee HS, Wash.]

I love music. But I'm having a real issue with current mainstream music. With the exception of Jet and a few others, today's music just doesn't do it for me.
