I used to play classical guitar... It depends on how talented you are. I was a natural, and learned how to play very well in just a couple of months. If you aren't musically inclined, it will take years of practice, playing till your fingers bleed.

In my opinion playing an instrument is never finished. I started palying guitar when I was 14, now I'm 43 and still learning. I don't know what goal you've set for yourself - playing Asturias or Sor's first etude? I suggest you pick up a nice sounding guitar and start practicing and have fun on the way.

May I suggest you try keyboards? I've tried to play the guitar for years but my fingers still hurt, I don't have time to play it everyday and that is what you must do to get hardened finger ends. Korg have some really fine keyboards. Amplifiers are not expensive, and together they are cheaper than a good guitar and are really easy to play

I understand how you think, dont fear you are going to get it again inside a couple of years when you've got ample cash... there's a innovative new technological know-how that's basicly putting a microphone into your ears and plugin it into your mind. i cant pay attention however i will be able to play devices. i haven't any suggestion if im well or no longer however from what folks (write) inform me im relatively well. be trained to learn peoples lips. dont finish your lifestyles as you continue to have alot to move. believe of notes as phrases and make sentences. you'll come to be popular. even within the toughest circumstances you're satisfactory. be grateful a few folks dont have imaginative and prescient and are mute. simply take advantage of lifestyles as it's and stay up for a medication.

guitar isn't that hard but you have to be committed and practice everyday. It may take you a while for you to play anything somewhat recognizable, but don't worry, you'll get there. :)
