On electric guitar I get confused with the pickups?

I get confused when to use treble or rythmn pick ups or use both. In my opinion the guitar sounds best always when on treble so its only using the neck pickup right?

fastest way to progress on guitar?

i have been playing since jan of last year. it first i was moving along well. now i feel like i'm in a rut. i pretty much such, but i enjoy playing. however, it's a bit discouraging to see my improvement level is non-existent.
how important is play with others?

Are you having trouble with your Q&A profile?

I cant change my picture to my yahoo 360 picture....and it says i dont have one but i do and it also says that i can change my name to my yahoo 360 name but then it says i dont have a yahoo 360....ive waited for about a week to see if it would fix but it hasnt...have you ad any problems?
